Job Purpose
The HR Officer will align the company’s people strategy with business strategy, support management and employees in HR programs, and drive talent initiatives while ensuring compliance with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning
-
Identify training needs, reskilling, and upskilling programs.

Conduct strategic workforce planning and succession planning.

Present annual HR plans and strategies.

Coaching & Consulting Leadership
-
Advise leaders on HR matters, employment laws, and compliance.

Develop and implement HR processes and policies.
-
Provide insight on organizational and people strategy.

Building a Competitive Organization
-
Support performance management, mentoring, and career development.

Assist in organizational design to improve productivity.
-
Implement recruitment strategies and future-proof compensation strategies.

Manage rewards, recognition, and employee engagement initiatives.

Company Culture & Employee Experience

Support cultural transformation initiatives.

Implement employee wellness, diversity, and inclusion programs.

Resolve conflicts and enhance employee relations and satisfaction.

Facilities Management & Compliance (SHEQ)

Ensure safe, tidy, secure, and professional office environments.

Manage security, reception operations, and vehicle fleet.

Oversee facilities procurement and operational budget compliance.

Education & Qualifications
-
Full Grade 12 Certificate.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management (accredited institution).
-
Additional HR certifications are a plus.
-
Verification of qualifications by Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) required.

Membership in Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management.
Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of HR experience in roles of increasing responsibility.
-
At least 2 years in a leadership role.
