Job Purpose
The Administrative Intern will assist with office administration tasks, inventory management, and internal processes. The role provides practical exposure without the responsibilities of a full-time staff member and aims to build foundational skills for a professional career.
Key Responsibilities

Follow up on obsolete items for disposal after inventory counts.

Prepare memos for disposal lists of assets for verification.

Generate GRNs for received supplies and inventory.

Distribute bulk items procured for programs.

Receive, issue, and track Jhpiego assets in the system.

Liaise with program teams to send procured supplies.

Raise requisitions for office supplies (stationery, kitchen materials).

Update the stores ledger and raise GSR for timely replenishment.

Record new assets in the system immediately after receipt.
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications:

Recent graduate with a Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Stores Management, or related fields.
Experience & Skills:

Willingness to intern, learn, and gain workplace experience.

High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Strong passion for working with diverse teams.

Resident of Dar es Salaam.
Preferred Qualifications:

Good written and oral communication skills in Kiswahili and English.

Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
